Welcome to the Magic Attic Club fandom Wiki! Here is where the magic happens. However, in order to keep this place operating properly and safely, there are some guidelines and rules users must follow. The vision of the fandom wiki is to make it appear as it would have in the catalogs while making sure that data is clear and helpful, almost recreating the same magical and fun vibe with more in-depth information.
Current Admins[]
Guidelines[]
For not following guidelines, there are no harsh consequences, but there still may be consequences.
Follow the Format[]
This fandom wiki requires organization to function properly. Please follow the format. If the format is not followed, the page in violation will be corrected and the editor told about our page layouts.
If you don't know how to follow the format, there's no such thing as a dumb question. Ask an admin. In the future, there will be an in-depth guide on how to add to the fandom wiki. For now, ask away.
Information Use[]
If you take any information from this wiki or any of the pages, and bring it to any other website, fandom page, and/or wiki, please give the fandom page credit. Many of the people adding to the page work hard to put it here. Please and thank you. (Note that by the rules of some sites such as TV Tropes this is considered plagiarism regardless of the permissions given here; check the site you are copying to.) If information from these pages are taken and copied verbatim, you will be notified and asked to cite the fandom page as the source.
If admins post anything, all of us admins will most certainly try to credit the website we got it from somewhere on here, as providing sources for everything is a goal of this fandom/wiki. Admins expect everyone else to try and do the same. The only exceptions are if the information is from a buying website, like Ebay or Amazon, or directly from the Magic Attic Club's general merchandise.
If you feel that your work was taken and posted here without credit, you can cite yourself on the fandom page or you can contact an administrator to make sure it is removed or cited (otherwise you risk it being posted again and you risk receiving unfair consequences). It is difficult to remember to cite everyone, but that is the goal.
Speculation is accepted, but subject to debate. Even speculations should be backed by evidence: from the books, authors, producers, creators, etc. There is a risk of the information being changed; this is the nature of a wiki. It's important to clearly specify it is speculation. Speculation that appears outside of the core series or product line can be placed in the trivia section.
Dealing with Editing Errors and Low-Quality Uploads[]
There may be times when there are errors or imperfections, such as words that are misspelled, sentences that aren't structured correctly, photos that are blurry, pages that are incomplete, etc. Those contributing may have varying levels of education, varying age ranges (all users must be at least 13 years old), difference of access, or difference of abilities, so there are many reasons why information may not look perfect initially. The only limitations as to who can post here are those imposed by Fandom terms of use. The "lack of quality" doesn't mean the information someone is trying to provide isn't valuable. Many wikis might expect quality over quantity. Not Here. This is not a business nor an elitist club; more like a research team. All are done by voluntary efforts; no one gets paid here. Due to the rarity of this brand, the focus is on finding as much information about this brand as possible.
Those visiting the fandom should avoid unnecessarily pointing out obvious errors while they leave comments and should instead attempt to fix them or "add context". Avoid removing information without consultation. Unwanted and deconstructive criticism serves no purpose. The "Edit" button is available to everyone. For bigger editing suggestions, reach out to admin to discuss how you plan to contribute in that way.
If a user leaves comments like this, they will be referred to this page so that they understand the proper decorum around here. Consistently violating or disrespecting this guideline will have consequences. We encourage a casual writing style as well; there's no need to show off.
Assume Good Faith[]
See more on Community Central at Assuming Good Faith.
To assume good faith means to assume first that all editors are making a well-intentioned effort to help the community. Assuming good faith means not to jump to the conclusion that people are here to harm; start first with the idea that there is no intention of malice and that all editors are trying hard to do their work for the greater good of the community. Approach disagreements with a sense of respect to the editor and their efforts: think first that the other person wants to help, not harm. Be a friendly, honest, and caring voice in the community rather than assume that anyone who does something differently than you thought it should be is out to ruin the project or fight with you. Even if an editor did something you think is 100% wrong or improper, lean for an accident before malice. Even if the person is wrong, that does not mean they are trying to ruin anything for the community.
When people are vandalizing or causing issue, it should be addressed then. Take issues to your admins to solve.
Gaining User Rights[]
Fandom has their own standards for what it takes to become an admin or bureaucrat when there are none active. Review these at Adoption Requests.
If anyone is interested in being administrators, bureaucrats, thread moderators, content-moderators, rollbacks, and/or map testers with active jobs, users must meet three requirements:
- Be an active user for at least 30 days without admin rights. This means contributing to pages mostly. It's a bonus if a user offers help, advice, or assistance to newcomers trying to add to the Wiki. The 30 days do not have to be within the same time frame, but the longer you take, the harder it will be to gain user rights.
- Follow the rules and guidelines at least all 30 of those active days. This means the user must not receive one warning within the 30-day period.
Once users meet these two standards, they can reach an admin through their message wall (found by clicking the admin's user name) or through Discussion pages, to inquire about a job. A test will then be given to the user, based on the rules and guidelines, which could be at any time an admin is available to give it. Once the user has completed their run, they can reach out to one of the admins again to let them know it is complete. Users can see if they have passed the test and have more rights by going to the Special:Community page, which could be updated even if the user doesn't receive a direct response from an admin. On the right, a list of important users will be there.
If it has been a week after the 30-day mark since the user has asked about a job, the user can feel free to leave another message with an admin. If it has been a week since the test was completed, and the Community still doesn't reflect the user's new status, the user can feel free to leave another message with an admin in this case as well.
Admins also have a unique set of expectations, as with responsibility comes power and we don't want abuse of power. Admins are stewards, not owners, of a wiki.
Admin Standards[]
Do not threaten, bully, harass, or throw accusations at any users visiting the fandom/wiki.
As those who have power on this fandom/wiki, our conduct should be held to an even higher standard. To clarify:
- What's considered a threat here? Any "warnings" issued WITHOUT following the steps of "Consequences", outlined below, will be considered a "threat". For example, "warning" a user about them possibly being banned before referring them to the Guidelines and Rules page can be considered a "threat". Any statement of inflicting injury, pain, or physical violence towards a person is also considered a "threat". Note: Any "warnings" that FOLLOW the steps of "Consequences" outlined in this "Guidelines and Rules of Conduct" section are NOT considered threats.
- What's considered bullying here? Throwing insults at users constantly, speaking maliciously with other admin, moderators, and/or other authority about users without their knowledge or consent, rallying people together to target a user, and stalking users around inside and outside of this fandom page with the intention to attack them constitutes as bullying. The same rules of conduct that applies to all users also applies to those holding authority.
- What's considered harassment here? Much like with bullying, stalking a user to the point you begin making a user feel uncomfortable is considered harassment here. It is perfectly okay to watch what's happening on each page. It's not okay to target one user visiting the fandom/wiki while doing so.
- What's considered an accusation here? Accusations are when you accuse users of violating the "Guidelines and Rules of Conduct" without reviewing the situation thoroughly. Those who receive any consequences should fully understand why they are receiving those consequences and why it protects other users in the community.
If any of those in authority abuse their power, users are allowed to contact the head admin immediately.

Rules of Conduct[]
Do Not Bully or Harass Anyone Here.[]
Intentionally throwing insults at a user or groups of people, threatening another user or groups of people, stalking users across this platform (and other platforms), and rallying a group of people to attack a user's character constitutes as bullying and harassment.
"Slurs" will not be tolerated. A "slur" is an insulting or disparaging remark or innuendo. The offender will be given one week ban and a chance to plead their case with any offenses. However, even if you can prove your case, you're expected to refrain from using the same exact offensive language after being told this ONCE. If you continue using the same offensive language, more than once, it will be taken as an "insult" and you will receive consequences.
Expressing a different ideological or political point of view is NOT a slur, does not constitute as bullying, nor harassment. If you do hold a particular counter-cultural point of view, carefully express why you feel the way you do, opening dialogue. However, be ready for a civil debate. On the other hand, if you attempt to directly insult or damage the reputation of one person or groups of people, your speech will be considered a "slur", bullying, and harassment. For example, outright using the wrong pronouns towards Trans and nonbinary people will be considered a "slur", bullying, and harassment.
Expressing how a statement sounds bad or harmful to others is NOT a "slur" or an insult. Adding insulting language, like calling someone an "uneducated piece of garbage" is an insult and will be considered a "slur", bullying, and harassment.
If someone uses bigoted slurs and insults outright or intentionally, refer them to the "Guidelines and Rules of Conduct" immediately, like any admin would, or directly contact fandom/wiki authority members (administrators, bureaucrats, thread moderators, content-moderators, rollbacks, and map testers).
Note: Keep in mind that a debate is not the same as an insult, bullying, or harassment. Speak to other users calmly about their talking points without attacking users' character. If someone said something that infuriates you, take a deep breath, step away from the device for a moment, and then think about how you want to respond. Nothing we do here is worth losing one's temper over. Don't edit in poor mental states.
Try not to disrespect anyone. Speak to others like you would want to be spoken to.
This fandom is also not a place to form intimate relationships. Attempting to "hook up" with someone here will be considered "harassment".
Keep It Age-Appropriate.[]
There may be editors under the age of 18, as young as 13. Keep all conversations family-friendly. This is not an 18+ fandom. Avoid the use of profanity and suggestive conversation or material. While there are many adult collectors, the brand was intended for children. Children under the age of 13 can't make accounts, but parents and teachers can visit to get more information about the brand on behalf of their children.
Don't Remove Information Without Consultation.[]
Do not remove any information from this fandom wiki before consulting or speaking with the community. Blatantly incorrect data should be removed.
"Vandalizing" occurs when you wipe pages and/or information clean to add your own content. Refrain from removing content; focus on adding context to the content. If you disagree with the content being posted, please speak with the community through the comments' section, talk pages, personal Walls, or the Discussion page. If you have reached out to the community about the content being posted, and no one has responded within a month, contact an administrator directly before removing the information. If an administrator isn't able to respond back, leave it alone until the administrator has time to review everything from all sides fairly. Only admin may remove or give permission to remove information.
If you see that a page has been vandalized, contact an administrator, bureaucrat, thread moderator, content-moderator, rollback, and/or map tester immediately.
Consequences For Breaking Rules of Conduct[]
If the rules of conduct are not considered, the following actions will occur:
- A verbal warning will occur first and your content will be removed. The verbal warning will simply refer you, the user, to the "GUIDELINES AND RULES", without much explanation. This means that you have violated a guideline or rule and are expected to read these guidelines and rules thoroughly before proceeding with any contributions in the future. This warning could come from anyone who has authority within the community, such as admins, bureaucrats, thread moderators, content-moderators, rollbacks, and map testers. If a user without authority gives you the warning, an admin won't consider that your first warning; however, I would take it as seriously as a warning before proceeding in the future, even if you don't receive any other consequences, and review these guidelines and rules again. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the guidelines and rules, speak with an admin about it, and await their response, before contributing any further. If you are an admin receiving questions about the rules and regulations after calling out a violation, you can outline what guideline or rule they violated and why the rule is important. However, only offer it when asked for the first-time offense. All violations of the rules will not be treated the same. If you violate one rule, and then violate another, they will be treated as different cases, where each will be given a simple verbal warning.
- If the actions continue, and you violate the same rules twice, you will be contacted directly by an administrator, this time with the guideline(s) or rule(s) specifically violated, whether you asked for it or not. If you, the user, respond to the contact you received from an admin, keep in mind that everyone is busy. You may not get a response back right away. However, once you receive the first contact directly from an administrator, it is time to stop doing what you were doing regardless, whether you feel you were right or wrong, until an administrator is able to review your response and get back to you with otherwise.
- If the actions persist, you will be temporarily banned for two weeks. An admin will notify you right before they ban you, stating "The Community has to decided to issue a two-week ban", outlining the rules and guidelines violated, and you will be given a week to to fight your case and present evidence to the contrary. If you do not respond within the week, the ban will move forward.
- If the actions continue to linger after this point, bans can escalate to longer terms up to and including being permanently banned. An admin will not notify you at this point.
